Employer Description

This distribution project gives participants hands-on experience with order fulfillment in Germany’s Rhine-Main region. Employees work as part of a multicultural warehouse team, selecting, checking and preparing products for shipment.

Job Position — Order Picker / Kommissionierer

Pay: €15.33 gross per hour
Night work: Additional 25% for eligible night hours
Approximate schedule: 45 hours per week
Available shifts: Morning, afternoon and night

Main duties

• Collect products from warehouse shelves.
• Scan each item using a handheld device.
• Check product codes, quantities and condition.
• Organize merchandise for packing and shipment.
• Move warehouse carts or containers between work areas.
• Maintain accuracy while meeting productivity targets.
• Follow workplace and manual-handling procedures.

The duties are entry-level and generally learned through initial workplace training.
